Robert Sabourin

Robert Sabourin (Canada) created and delivers the Just in Time Testing course.

Robert has more than twenty years of management experience, leading teams of software development professionals. A well-respected member of the software engineering community, Robert has managed trained, mentored, and coached hundreds of top professionals in the field. He frequently speaks at conferences and writes on software engineering, SQA, testing, management, and internationalization.

The author of I am a Bug!, the popular software testing children’s book, Robert is an adjunct professor of Software Engineering at McGill University. Robert is president and principal consultant at AmiBug.Com, Inc. in Montreal. AmiBug focuses on offering software engineering related training, consulting and coaching services.

Robert works with several major companies to establish software engineering teams, automate workflow to facilitate continuous software development in web based e-commerce applications, virtual online communities and multiple cross vendor integrated “e-commerce” for B2B and B2C applications. 

Robert has championed many complex international multilingual software development and globalization efforts involving several intricate business partnerships and relationships including international government (Czech, Egypt, France, Morocco, Algeria...) and commercial entities (Microsoft, IBM, AT&T, HP, Thompson CSF, Olivetti...).
